Introducing TP Energy
Trans Pacific Energy Group Ltd (“TP Energy” or “the Company”) is an Australian public company committed to providing the battery metals necessary to help power the new, renewable energy-based global economy.
TP Energy is exploring for essential battery metals including nickel, cobalt, copper, lithium and graphite, with the company having already defined a JORC Exploration Target (JET) at its flagship exploration asset, Lake Yindarlgooda, in Western Australia.
The Company is also developing new technology for the improved extraction of magnesium from lithium brines.
Lab trials have confirmed that, when compared to the conventional reagent-based magnesium extraction process, the new technology offers the potential for higher lithium yield and a commercial by-product in the form of magnesium hydroxide.
Once fully developed, the technology will not only be applied to TP Energy’s own lithium brine operations in Argentina but will also be licenced to other lithium production companies.
